Mapua Intramuros receives bomb threat

Mapua University said it suspended classes in its Intramuros campus on Thursday after receiving a bomb threat.

Mapua, through its official Twitter account, advised students and employees to vacate the Intramuros campus at around 8:24 a.m. on October 3.

“Classes are suspended due to a reported bomb threat. Students and employees are required to vacate the Intramuros campus now,” the tweet read.

“However, today will be considered as a DIGITAL DAY. All classes will be conducted online,” it added.

Students were required to access their Blackboard accounts.

Last Sept. 19, Mapua Intramuros campus also suspended classes due to a bomb scare which later turned out to be a false alarm.
