Celebrity chef and entrepreneur Martha Stewart toured some of Manila's landmarks before speaking to a group of businessmen at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel.

Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso accompanied the American lifestyle expert and television host in visiting Intramuros, Fort Santiago and tSan Agustin Church as well as sampling local cuisine prepared by Filipino chef Margarita Forés.

Moreno, a former actor, serenaded Steward with a song made popular by the late Yoyoy Villame.

“I am in Manila to speak to @ABS-CBN sponsored event. So excited. My first visit to this country!” Steward announced on social media.

Stewart was invited to speak for the latest leg of the ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel’s Leadership Series at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza on August 20.

Ticket prices for “A Conversation with Entrepreneur and Lifestyle Legend Martha Stewart” ranged from P7,500 to P12,500.

The 18-time Emmy Award winner and businesswoman, named by Forbes as one of “100 Greatest Living Business Minds” in 2017, shared her story of success and business philosophy to the country’s business executives, entrepreneurs and students in a forum moderated by ANC anchor Karen Davila.
