Fresnedi holds talks with Bilibid residents
Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi on Monday met with representatives of residents of the National Bilibid Prisons Reservation who were staging a protest rally against the demolition of their community.
Kadamay Munti and other militant groups trooped to city hall to call for action against the NBP Master Development Plan and the demolition of settlers.
Fresnedi told the group, led by Kadamay Munti president Bella Diaz, that the national government has jurisdiction over the NBP.
He vowed, however, that he and Muntinlupa Rep. Ruffy Biazon would coordinate with concerned authorities regarding the issues raised at the meeting.
