Cruz, together with Mayor Jaime Fresnedi (center), DILG Muntinlupa director Silvestre Barrameda Jr. (left), and other local officials led an operation in Katihan, Alabang Viaduct, and Alabang Public Market on August 8.

Through the Task Force Discipline, Muntinlupa LGU has been conducting operations in the removal of illegal structures, illegally-parked vehicles, and illegal vending as a response to President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive to “reclaim public spaces.” Mayor Fresnedi said that Muntinlupa City supports the National Government's thrust in clearing all obstructions and rehabilitation of public roads.
