Muntinlupa releases schedule for anti-rabies vaccination
The Office of the City Veterinarian (OCV) in Muntinlupa has released the schedule for its Anti-Rabies Vaccination program in various locations in the city for March and April. The program aims to prevent the spread of rabies in animals and protect both the pets and residents from the deadly disease.
Residents can bring their pets to the designated vaccination areas on the scheduled dates. The OCV advises pet owners to secure their pets in carriers or leashes to ensure their safety during the vaccination process.
For inquiries and more information about the program, residents can visit the OCV office located on the 4th floor of the Annex Building at the City Hall of Muntinlupa. They may also contact the office through the phone number 88623866 from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
The city government emphasizes the importance of vaccination in preventing the spread of rabies, a viral disease that can be transmitted to humans through animal bites. The program is part of the city's efforts to promote public health and ensure the welfare of its residents and their pets.
