Muntinlupa offers free shuttle services for residents
In an effort to alleviate the transportation woes of its residents, the Muntinlupa City government deployed service vehicles as early as 5:00 AM, with the help of the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau (MTMB) and other departments.
Starting from March 6-12, 2023, the city launched a week-long free shuttle service program for its residents. The service runs from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM and covers various routes across the city.
The routes for the free shuttle service include the RMT to Alabang Viaduct and vice versa (National Road), Alabang Viaduct to Sucat and vice versa (East Service Road), South Station to Sucat and vice versa (West Service Road), South Station to Buencamino and vice versa (Alabang-Zapote Road), Biazon Road (Southville III), and Sucat to Poblacion and vice versa (Baybayin).
This initiative aims to provide a more convenient and accessible means of transportation to the residents, especially those who do not have their private vehicles or rely on public transportation. It also aims to promote the use of environment-friendly modes of transportation and reduce traffic congestion in the city.
The city government encourages residents to take advantage of the free shuttle services during the week-long program and hopes to continue implementing programs that will benefit the community in the future.
