The construction of the Skyway extension to Susana Heights began, causing slower traffic along South Luzon Expressway.

Commuters from southern Metro Manila should brace for heavy traffic on their way into the city as construction on the Skyway Extension Project has begun.

Traffic along the South Luzon Expressway is expected to be congested from Muntinlupa to Alabang.

The Skyway project will connect the existing construction from Susana Heights up to Alabang. Ongoing is the laying of posts that will support the highway.

The Skyway Extension Project is expected to be completed by December 2020 at a cost of P10 billion.
