Women’s Day Out caravan held in Muntinlupa
The City Hall Quadrangle in Muntinlupa was filled with excitement and joy as the Women’s Day Out Caravan was launched on March 8, in celebration of Women’s Month. The program aimed to give the women in the city a special day filled with pampering and relaxation.
The Women’s Day Out Caravan started with free haircuts, hair spas, and massages provided by the Muntinlupa City Technical Institute (MCTI) for the residents of Barangay Putatan. The program was spearheaded by the Muntinlupa Gender And Development (GAD) Office, Youth Affairs and Sports Development Office (YASDO), Persons With Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), and SAGIP ng Muntinlupa.
The caravan’s schedule for the whole month of March was also presented during the program by the heads of the participating offices. The event was attended by some city officials, including Councilor Rachel Arciaga, Mrs. Mandy Camilon, the wife of Councilor Allan Camilon, and Rotary Club of Muntinlupa Filinvest.
Other officials present during the program were the heads of the GAD Office, Social Services Department (SSD), SAGIP ng Muntinlupa, Muntinlupa Entrepreneurship Financing Division (MEFD), and employees from the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), People’s Coordinating and Monitoring Office (PCMO), Muntinlupa City Persons With Disability Office (PDAO), Sentrong Aruga ng Kababaihan (SAK), and Local Civil Registry (LCR) Office.
The Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Muntinlupa expressed its solidarity in the celebration of Women’s Month. The Women’s Day Out Caravan will continue throughout the month, providing women in the city with a day of relaxation and pampering.
